For one of our top agencies, we are looking for an Insurance Sales Representative with experience in sales and customer service and aspirations to become an insurance agent.

Here is an idea of some of the duties this opportunity will entail

  • To assist the customer in identifying their unique product demands, and establish consumer expectations and criteria.
  • As necessary, cross-sell or up-sell suitable products to current customers.
  • Solicit, sell and negotiate new business policies.
  • Keep a record of all communications and transactions with clients, including their questions, requests, worries, comments, and any actions done.
  • Contacting consumers and creating customized customer coverage suggestions based on recognized needs can help with the annual review process.
  • Ensure that the policies sold and managed by the agency adhere to the Underwriting Quality Index’s underwriting principles (UQI).
  • Serve as a link between the claims adjuster, client, and claimant by being knowledgeable about the claims procedure.

Compensation

  • $35,000 base salary + Commission (Total comp first year is about $60,000-$70,000+ based on performance)
  • Additional bonuses based on performance

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain both Property & Casualty and Life/Health licenses (we can HELP you with this!)
  • Previous insurance experience (State Farm, Allstate, etc.) preferred but not required
  • Self-motivation, strong work ethic, reliability, eagerness to learn
