Reliable leadership is a quality. These leaders are trusted by the workforce to provide for their needs. They can be trusted to carry out their promises and show up when required by the workforce.
Exceptional leaders are enthusiastic about their work. Their employees are inspired and engaged by them because of their energy, excitement, and desire. Effective team leaders support and cheer on their members.
Competent leader assumes accountability for both themselves and those who follow them. The leader is the one who takes responsibility when anything goes wrong.
A competent boss creates a setting where rules are followed consistently. Individuals are aware of expectations and how things operate. Few surprises occur. They are not concerned about priorities and objectives abruptly shifting.
Good leaders are aware that they do not possess all the solutions. They rely on the counsel of individuals who are more skilled in particular fields and are willing to learn from others.
A good leader makes sure his followers are fully aware of their goals and where they are headed. There are clear expectations and goals for everyone. Leaders also take the time to listen to their followers in order to learn about their struggles, issues, and potential improvement ideas.
